Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently at 4th position in the points table with 12 points. Sunrisers now have a strong case for them to qualify for the playoffs. However, Hyderabad will play their remaining games without David Warner. Now if you see their team without the top run-getter this season, the case for them qualifying gets a little weaker.
SRH has already started their experiments in the batting order by sending Wridhiman Saha to open in the last match against KXIP. The wicketkeeper-batsman couldn’t convert the good start he had but he looked comfortable while at the crease. Hyderabad will now be playing their next two league games at Mumbai and Bengaluru, which are arguably a good batting track. The management has to make sure that they choose the best combination. There is a good chance Shakib al Hasan will get a game or two, who is a top class all rounder in the world. Kane Williamson has to make sure he has his plans ready to tackle this situation and get his batsmen for the remainder of the tournament.
